About Us
Some History...
Umpqua Valley Gymnastics (UVG) is a non-profit organization founded in 1989 in Roseburg, Oregon, with a mission to provide quality gymnastics training and recreational programs for youth across Douglas County. Dedicated to fostering strength, flexibility, confidence, and healthy living, UVG serves hundreds of children each year through programs ranging from parent–toddler and preschool classes to advanced recreational and competitive teams. Located at 780 NW Garden Valley Blvd, the gym is known for its welcoming, family-oriented environment where community and character growth are just as important as athletic development. UVG regularly hosts events such as the annual Riverside Classic and Harvest Invitational, which draw gymnasts from around Oregon and beyond while raising funds for new equipment and facility improvements. Supported by dedicated parents, coaches, and volunteers, the organization plays a vital role in the local sports community—offering kids a safe and inspiring space to grow, learn, and achieve both inside and outside the gym.
